About this spot
A neighborhood outing centered on Japanese and Japanese American culture, with shops, restaurants, and community events. Plan a short walking route and check individual destinations. Peace Plaza is under renovation, so access through the central area differs from older visitor guides.

Planning notes
💡
Choose one food stop and one shop, then check their hours. Do not plan on unrestricted access to Peace Plaza during construction.
1610 Geary Blvd, San Francisco, CA 94115
Peace Plaza remains under renovation as of September 2026. Follow posted pedestrian detours; a planned fall opening is not confirmation that it has reopened.
During construction, Geary access to the malls is through the parking garage; follow the temporary route from Post Street.
