We collect information you choose to provide, plus limited technical data needed to operate Family Friendly SF:
- Email-list information: Your email address, signup time, and the list or guide update you requested
- Spot submissions: The place details you submit and any optional name or email you provide for follow-up
- Purchase information: Your email, product, amount, payment status, and Stripe transaction identifiers; card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by us
- Analytics data: Page and interaction data collected by Google Analytics only after you allow analytics
- Technical data: Limited server logs used for security, reliability, and troubleshooting
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Send the updates or family picks you requested
- Follow up on spot submissions if we have questions
- Process guide purchases, deliver secure access, handle support, and issue refunds
- Improve our website and content based on how it's used
- Understand which family guides and spots are most helpful
What We Don't Do
Your privacy matters to us. We do not:
- Sell your personal information to third parties
- Share personal information for another company's independent marketing
- Use card details ourselves; Stripe handles payment entry and processing
- Track you across other websites
- Store unnecessary personal information
Newsletter & Communication
If you join an email list, you can ask to unsubscribe or have your email removed at any time by replying to an email or contacting hello@familyfriendlysf.com. Purchase and access emails are transactional and are sent when needed to provide a guide you purchased.
Cookies & Analytics
Google Analytics does not load unless you choose “Allow analytics” in our analytics-choice panel. If allowed, Google may use first-party analytics cookies and receive device, browser, page, approximate-location, and interaction data. Advertising storage and personalization remain disabled. You can change your choice at any time with “Analytics choices” in the footer.
Service Providers
We use Vercel to host the site, Google Sheets to store email-list and spot-submission records, Stripe to process payments, Resend to deliver purchase emails, and Google Analytics only when permitted. These providers process information to perform those services under their own security and privacy terms.
Retention & Your Choices
We keep records only as long as reasonably needed to provide the requested service, maintain purchase and accounting records, resolve disputes, and protect the site. You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information by emailing us from the address involved. Some transaction records may be retained where required for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or accounting purposes.
Children's Privacy
Our website is designed for parents and families, but we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We'll update the “Last updated” date above and provide additional notice when reasonably appropriate.
