The block party is planned along Hunters Point Boulevard between Innes and Hudson avenues. That is more specific than simply navigating to the park’s general address. The organizer also announces temporary street changes September 18–20 as part of the weekend project.

Check the latest arrival information and transport service notices close to the date. Plan your approach around the changed streets rather than relying on a usual parking spot or drop-off point. Leave extra time for finding the event entrance with your group.

What the organizer has announced

The announcement includes music and DJs, dance performances, live painting, community art, a photo booth, local vendors and nonprofits, and barbecue from Surfside Liquor. No detailed running order is published in that announcement, so arrive with a flexible plan instead of timing the day around one performance.

The photo booth is specifically described as free. Food, vendor purchases, and any entry or registration arrangements should be checked with the organizer. We have not treated every part of the event as free based on the photo-booth offer.

India Basin Waterfront Park at 900 Innes has public piers, an accessible walkway, restrooms, and the Lady Bayview ground mural. It can provide another stop if the day’s access arrangements and your family’s energy allow. Do not assume regular facility hours or a particular food vendor guarantee service during the party.

The Bay Trail connection between 900 Innes and the PG&E Shoreline is closed during the larger park project. This guide does not depend on walking through that connection. Use open public areas and the current project map; the entire future waterfront park is not one continuous finished route.
