Sunset Playground

About This Spot
Major renovation completed — upgraded rec center, new children's play areas, improved paths and lighting. Tot lot for little ones, bigger equipment for school-age kids. Baseball diamond, basketball courts, and the Noriega corridor's shops and cafes are a short walk away. Strong community involvement shaped the redesign. One of the Sunset's anchor parks.
What to Expect
Parent Tips
The tot lot is separated from the bigger kid equipment, which is perfect for families with mixed ages. The rec center has indoor bathrooms — a huge plus. Noriega corridor shops are a 5-minute walk for coffee or snacks. After-school programs fill up fast, so register early through SF Rec & Park.

Family Reviews
"The renovation made such a difference. New play structures, better paths for strollers, and the lighting means we can stay a little later in winter. It finally feels like the park our neighborhood deserves."

"We go to the tot lot almost every morning. My baby loves the swings and my preschooler plays on the climbing structure. Then we walk to Noriega for coffee."
— Local parent
"The community really pushed for this renovation and it shows. The baseball diamond is great for Little League, and the basketball courts are always busy after school."
