Musée Mécanique

About This Spot
A free-to-enter arcade museum at Fisherman's Wharf packed with antique coin-operated machines, fortune tellers, and mechanical games dating back over 100 years. Bring quarters. The Laughing Sal figure at the entrance is either delightful or terrifying depending on your kid.
What to Expect
Parent Tips
Free to enter — you just pay per machine (25¢-$1). Bring a roll of quarters. The old-timey machines are genuinely fascinating for all ages. Some of the fortune-teller machines can scare little ones. Combine with Pier 39 sea lions next door.
