Lafayette Park

About This Spot
A Pacific Heights hilltop park with a renovated playground, off-leash dog area, tennis courts, and panoramic views of the Bay and downtown. The playground is well-shaded and has equipment for toddlers through school-age. Wide grassy areas perfect for picnics. Less crowded than Dolores Park with arguably better views. "The shaded playground is a game-changer. My fair-skinned baby can actually play here without me constantly chasing sun patches. Plus the views are better than Dolores Park β fight me."

"We pack a picnic and spend the whole morning here. Playground, then lunch on the grass with Bay views. It's our favorite weekend routine."
