About This Spot

A Pacific Heights hilltop park with a renovated playground, off-leash dog area, tennis courts, and panoramic views of the Bay and downtown. The playground is well-shaded and has equipment for toddlers through school-age. Wide grassy areas perfect for picnics. Less crowded than Dolores Park with arguably better views. The quintessential Pac Heights family park.

Planning Notes

πŸ’‘

The renovated playground is on the Sacramento Street side β€” toddler area is partially fenced. Lots of shade from mature trees, which is rare for SF playgrounds. The grassy hilltop is perfect for picnics with a view. Dog area is separate but dogs do roam β€” keep an eye out if your kid is nervous around dogs.
