The oldest public playground in the US, recently renovated with a massive climbing structure, slides for all ages, and a beautiful carousel nearby. Located in Golden Gate Park with easy access to the California Academy of Sciences and de Young Museum.

Parent Tips
The concrete slides are fast — bring cardboard for extra speed! Restrooms are right next to the playground. Carousel is $3 per ride, and they sell coffee and snacks for parents.
