Hyde Street Pier Historic Ships

About This Spot
Climb aboard authentic historic ships including a 1886 square-rigged ship, paddle-wheel tugboat, and steam schooner. Kids can explore above and below deck, turn the ship's wheel, and imagine life as sailors. Part of San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park.
Parent Tips
Ages 4+ do best - lots of climbing and narrow ship passages. Kids love turning the ship wheels and exploring below deck. Wear good shoes for climbing. Great for history-loving families. About 1-2 hours depending on interest.
