Planning notes

💡

Plan a short garden walk together. For volunteer shifts, children 12 and under must come with an adult, and every participant, including children, must register. Check each workshop’s age requirements separately.

The garden’s self-guided stops include composting and native planting.
School field trips are available for kindergarten through high school and must be booked separately.
Volunteer shifts require advance registration for every attendee; no walk-up registration. Arrive by 9:50 AM for the 10 AM start. Teens ages 13–17 may volunteer without an adult present but need a parent or guardian’s signed waiver.
Check the booking calendar for available shifts. The organizer directs groups of three or more to its team-building information.
Weekend street parking can be difficult; public transit stops are nearby.
