Buena Vista Park

About This Spot
San Francisco's oldest park (1867) featuring winding trails through coast live oak groves with spectacular city views from the upper slopes. A hidden hiking gem right between Cole Valley and the Haight with playground and off-leash dog areas.
Planning Notes
Trails are steep but the views are worth it! Great for older kids who can handle hills. The playground at the bottom is good for younger ones. One of the few places in SF that still feels wild. Bring layers β it can be windy at the top.
